Hurricane Katrina: Poor AFGHANISTAN Offers Aid to Superpower America

  Afghanistan has offered us $100,000 in disaster relief aid to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The U-S Embassy in Kabul says President Hamid Karzai has signed a decree on behalf of the people of Afghanistan allowing for the donation.

A presidential statement says the people and Government of the United States have given Afgahnistan extensive support in difficult situations.

President Karzai says Afghanistan now wants to assist the U-S in its time of need.
